We love these right hand drive, manual transmission, 4 cylinder E46’s. The fact that America didn’t see 90% of this cars options is wild, as its such a sought after combo in the rest of the world. Perfect daily driver, dead reliable, plenty of pep, unmatched chassis balance. Go snag your groceries while getting 30+ MPG, take the twisty route home and enjoy light and predictable turn in and fantastic grip. This Fern Grun E46 is ready for use, odometer currently reading a touch over 51,000 miles.

Exterior: Fern Grun is a wacky color, as its a dark green in some lights and a bright and metallic green in others. When the sunset hit, this is when the car takes on a bronze tint. We love it, and find it refreshingly unique and different. The paint itself is fully original and in amazing shape, it measures within OEM depths. Very minimal small scuffs, no dents or dings. This is a stock body E46 so no aero, all panels line up perfectly as well. This is a non sunroof car, so no dealing with leaky or fussy motors. Clear coat is perfect all around the car. Some plastic trim near the windshield is cracking, common with these e46’s as they get older. Wheels are a Japanese forged set, from Prodrive, retailing used for a pretty penny and in great shape. New tires are being fitted for the next owner. There is zero rust or corrosion on this car.

Interior: Good old cloth, our favorite BMW interior. This grey cloth is in awesome shape with no rips or tears. The manual front seats are dead simple, all adjustments working perfect. Rear seats match the front condition wise and look and feel great. Carpet is clean, no holes or rips. All functions on the dash work as they should, no pixels missing in the cluster. Radio, heat, AC and windows all work perfectly. Headliner is nice and tight, as is door card fabric. This is a stock interior with a stock radio. Overall, a nice place to be if you were to use this as a daily.

Mechanical: Unbeatable M43, BMW’s motor that checks every box. It may not be the fastest, but it has a fantastic track record for being unbelievably reliable and easy to work on. This particular motor is bone stock, and fires right up as it should every time. No odd noises, smells, leaks or hesitations. The motor pulls strong through every gear, cooling system working perfectly. This motor in fact has a good bit of pep that shocked us, seems to be very healthy. The five speed manual in this car is also spot on, just the right amount of notchy-ness, paired with a smooth and easy clutch with lots of life left. No clunky from the rear, no wining either. Brakes are smooth and consistent with a fair bit of life left. This car has not leaked a single fluid. We will also be putting a new battery in it for the next owner. All in all, exactly what you would expect for a E46 with under 52,000 miles.

This car is sold with a clean Oregon title in the buyers name.
