Our first imported E39 right hand drive wagon! Just a touch under 45,000 original miles, spec’d in Orient Blau Metallic over a European only grey cloth interior. Here in the states, all E39’s came with leather which tends to show its age. This wagon is a near perfect example of a time capsule with zero issues and glowing condition report. This car does come with its original leather bound owners manual and a 2 original key fobs.
Exterior: This paint code (Orient Blau Metallic) is stunning, loads of flake, blues and purples are layered to change colors in different lighting. Paint itself is extremely healthy, zero signs of fading or corrosion. We will be applying a ceramic coat as well to ensure it stays this way with the next owner. The single sign of scuffing on the paint is on the drivers side of the rear bumper, this could easily be touched up with a steady hand. All panels are original, as is glass. No signs of accident damage, no dents or noticeable dings. This car is bone stock, so it sits on standard Euro style E39 wagon wheels. Fresh tires will also be mounted for the next owner. This vehicle is a rare slick-top, so no leaking/breaking/heavy sunroof. All doors and rear hatch open perfectly with no issues. Central locking works from the fob as well as the door.
Interior: Equally as amazing as the exterior, the interior on this touring is one of a kind. Grey cloth, something absolutely unheard of here in the states, looks amazing with zero rips, tears, or sign of wear. To be honest, we don’t know if anyone has even sat in the passenger seat. All seat adjustments work perfectly, as do windows. Dash cluster is not missing a single pixel and works exactly as it should. Radio works very well, as does heat and cold AC. Blowers are quiet and smooth. Headliner is tight and original. Rear seats and luggage area are also very clean and show little to no wear. This car does have the dog guard and luggage cover combo, which is a massive bonus.
Mechanical: This car is unmodified, low milage, well kept and it shows. The M52B28 fires right up and idles absolutely perfectly, zero smoke or odd noises. All fluids are clean and healthy, no leaks or concerns. This wagon cruises with ease and has plenty of power to keep one amused. Transmission is tight, as is steering and braking. Overall if you had to imagine an E39 wagon back in 1999, this would be it. The car feels exactly as it would when it left the factory.
Vehicle is sold with a clean Oregon title in the buyers name. Need financing? Check out our lender options on our website. Need shipping? We’ve got you covered as well!
