You know when you see a car that just confuses you to the point of liking it? Well that happened to us the moment we laid eyes on this E30 overseas. Our brains immediately said “all wheel drive rally inspired M3 sedan??” and next thing you know we’re snagging it for ourselves. This is definitely unlike anything we’ve imported before, and has an insane amount of potential. The sheer amount of hours needed to convert one of these sedans to sport the iconic E30 M3 box flares is insane, which means the rest of the build is easy breezy and fun from here on out.

Now for the nitty gritty, this is a 325IX, which means it has the all wheel drive system, known for being the absolute go to for vintage winter daily drivers. Being an IX, it has heated cloth sport seats, AC, and electric windows all around. This car has only 65,000 original miles, a tidy underside and no mechanical concerns noted on its auction grading sheet. The body work looks to have been done professionally, the adaptation to the rear doors is natural and well done. The M3 style front and rear bumpers also appear to be in great shape. Being an IX this car is riding higher than standard (IX springs will sit higher for better clearance). This is also a slicktop model.

Overall, this is a crazy cool build we’re very excited for. We estimate our list price to be around $15,000-16,000. If you’re interested in placing a deposit on it, we may be willing to knock a little off of the price.
