Another factory M Tech II BMW E30 coupe will be heading stateside! We saw this particular E30 and appreciated the misc period correct AC Schnitzer parts (steering wheel, carbon fiber cluster trim, exhaust). These are stunning cars in person that are gaining value quickly due to their rarity and limited availability from countries overseas.
Exterior - Factory two tone, a Japanese only option from BMW (see our previous M Tech II in the same color combo). Paint is in overall great shape with no signs of clear coat failure. These two tones polish up nicely, especially with a finishing ceramic treatment. The kit itself is straight, original and looks to be lined up nicely. A very clean set of BBS wheels have been swapped in exchange for the factory basket weaves. We did notice some aftermarket spot lights added near the fog lights, we will be removing these. We will also be removing the modified front grills for a clean set of European OEM ones. Lastly, this E30 is rocking some rare smoked HELLA Euro headlights with the “crosshairs”.
Interior - Simple and stock, the cloth sport interior is in amazing shape. There is the smallest bit of wear on the drivers bolster, it looks quite minor. Otherwise no rips or tears, no cracks in dash, nor any serious modifications. There is a very sought after AC Schnitzer steering wheel fitted to a MOMO hub as well as an AC Schnitzer carbon fiber gauge cluster trim add on. The cluster face does have a hairline crack in the corner of it. A period correct arm rest has been added, we’re not sure if it is a Husco or not, but it looks similar. This car does have an aftermarket radio and functioning AC. There is also some of the wildest looking Bose speakers on the rear parcel shelf where head rests would sit, so we’re looking forward to hearing them in person! Headliner is tight, this is a sunroof car, all functions work as they should.
Mechanical - This E30 has the M20B20 6 cylinder, a smaller displacement version of the M20B25, is a great power plant that has loads of potential for modification/stroking. The motor has no negative auction notes, so it should be running like a top. Any work it needs we will take care of prior to handing the keys over to the next owner. The automatic transmission does look like it was just serviced. We believe this one is sitting on Bilstein suspension, unsure of what springs however they are lowering. Lastly, a rare AC Schnitzer exhaust has been fitted.
This M Tech II E30 will be listing between $20,000-$24,000, titled and out the door, daily driver ready with a clean Oregon title in the buyers name. These cars do move quickly, so please reach out to us regarding placing a deposit if you would like to reserve it.
