It has taken years for us to finally secure one of the rarest parts you can source for the BMW E30 with an M2O engine. Back in the 80’s tuner parts were flooding out of Germany, absolutely oozing with retro flare. Companies like AC Schnitzer, Hartge, Alpina and MK Motorsport were at the forefront of this tuner craze. Even back in the 80’s, these parts were a pretty penny. The price tag on this one may be outrageous to some, however it was decided on with the few comps available in the last 5-6 years. This valve cover is more of a piece of art than anything else, its a piece of history.

Now with all of that being said, this is a genuine new old stock, never mounted, never seen oil, MK Motorsport M20 valve cover. This will fit any m20, regardless of bore stroke or chassis (e28’s and e21’s we’re looking at you). Air box mounting brackets may vary, however we see this as an amazing excuse to go for an aftermarket intake.

Overall condition is, well, new. Paint is vibrant gold with no flaking or fading. No cracks, warping or signs of damage. All in all, as close as you can get from fresh out of the hands of your local German tuner shop in 1987.

To reiterate, our price is based off of similar and now sold MK Motorsport valve covers, granted all of the ones sold stateside in the last few years were not gold, and nor were they new.
